Here at Yummy Mummy Cupcakes you can either purchase a RECIPE BOOK or order some freshly baked Yummy Mummy Cupcakes with authentic and traditional vanilla butter cream frosting decorated with with a selection of edible sugar flowers, or sprinkles. We offer vanilla or chocolate cupcakes.  We are based at Redcliffe, just north of Brisbane.

Our cupcakes are baked fresh on the morning of purchase. If purchasing cupcakes to be consumed other than on the day of purchase, they are best stored in an airtight container in a cool dry place (not in refrigeration). Cupcakes should remain fresh for up to 3 days.  From $2.50 to $3.00 each.
 
Cupcakes taste delicious, look irresistible and smell divine. At first glance a cupcake should make you excited, your mouth should water from sight alone, textures and tastes complete the cupcake experience.

Handy Hint #1
 

To make a cheaper version of coloured sugar, simply because you can’t find it in the shops or don't want waste the money, place a few tablespoons of caster sugar into a small plastic bag add a couple of drops of food colouring, rub them together until the sugar changes colour, then sprinkle on top of your creations.

Yummy Mummy Marshmallow Frosting

INGREDIENTS
·     2 egg whites
·     300 g white sugar
·     80 ml cold water
·     8 ml light corn syrup
·     5 ml vanilla extract
·     50 g miniature marshmallows
 
DIRECTIONS
1. Put egg whites, sugar, water and syrup in top of double boiler. Beat until mixed well. Place over rapidly boiling water. Beat constantly with electric beater while it cooks for 7 minutes or until it will stand in peaks when beater is raised. Remove from heat.
2.Stir in marshmallows and vanilla. Beat until they melt.

 

Yummy Mummy Special Butter Cream Frosting

INGREDIENTS
·     410 g butter
·     1 kg icing sugar
·     Pinch of salt
·     2 teaspoons vanilla extract
·     235 ml heavy whipping cream
DIRECTIONS
1.In a mixing bowl, cream the butter until fluffy. Add icing sugar, and continue to beat until well blended.

2.Add salt, vanilla, and ¾ of the cream. Blend on low speed until combined. Add the rest of the cream if necessary. Beat at high speed until frosting is fluffy.
